There is a narrow window each season to collect it, and it is short. Goat, not cow. Most colostrum skincare on the market is bovine and bought in from a supplier, which means it has been processed, stored, and traded before it ever reaches a formula. It lathers lightly — a soft, low foam rather than a dense one — and rinses clean without the tight, squeaky feeling that tells you a cleanser took your barrier along with the day.
