Why fresh matters more than the ingredient list makes it look
Goat milk is close to skin's own pH, which is most of the reason it doesn't announce itself when you put it on. Colostrum is the first milk after a birth — the richest few days, and the reason there's only ever a little of it. Kefir is cultured, and it's alive.

That number isn't a scarcity tactic, it's the size a batch can be and still get the attention it needs. Colostrum only exists for a few days after a birth, so there is only ever as much as the herd produced that week. Ten things worth knowing before you buy anything for sensitive skin

- “Gentle” is not a regulated word. It can appear on a bottle with alcohol high in the ingredient list. Read the list, not the front of the label.
- Over-cleansing does more damage than under-moisturising. If your face feels tight and squeaky after washing, that's not clean, that's stripped.
- A tingle is not a product working. It's a reaction. Some people are told to push through it. You don't have to.
- Fragrance-free and unscented are different things. Unscented often means a masking fragrance was added to cover the base smell.
- More layers means more variables. When something reacts on a seven-step routine, you have no way of knowing which step did it.
- Give anything new two to four weeks before you judge it. Comfort shows up first. Anything to do with texture or fine lines takes longer.
- Patch test on your jaw, not your wrist. Wrist skin behaves nothing like face skin.
- Price and gentleness are unrelated. A $180 cream and a $20 cream can contain the same irritant.
- Anything promising to fix a skin condition is making a drug claim. Cosmetics change how skin looks and feels. If a product page tells you it treats a diagnosis, be careful with it.
