Kefir Cleanser

Goat Milk Kefir (cultured on our farm)
Kefir is goat milk fermented with live cultures. Fermentation increases the lactic acid already present in the milk, which is why this cleanses and gently resurfaces in one step. It also produces peptides and organic acids the unfermented milk does not have.
Ours is cultured on-site from our own herd, days after milking. This is the only product in the line where fermentation is doing the work.
Sodium Cocoyl Apple Amino Acids & Decyl Glucoside
The two cleansing agents, and the reason this does not strip. Both are sugar- and amino-acid-derived rather than sulfates. They lift oil and grime without taking the lipid barrier with them, which is what causes that tight post-wash feeling.
MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane)
Organic sulfur. It goes in every single Artisan formula. Sulfur supports collagen production and helps calm reactive skin, and for a family of athletes it became non-negotiable years ago.
Organic Manuka Honey & Bamboo Extract
Manuka honey is a humectant that draws water into skin and has been used on skin for a very long time. Bamboo extract is one of the richest natural sources of silica. Together they are why a rinse-off product leaves anything behind at all.
Organic Squalane & Jojoba
Olive-derived squalane and jojoba replace what cleansing takes out. Jojoba is a wax ester structurally close to your own sebum; squalane is one of the lightest emollients available. Neither leaves a film.
Sodium Hyaluronate
The smaller-molecule form of hyaluronic acid — it penetrates rather than sitting on top holding water at the surface.

Massage a small amount into damp skin, then rinse and follow with moisturizer.
A dime-sized amount is enough. Work it in for twenty to thirty seconds — the lactic acid needs a moment of contact to do anything.
Once daily is plenty for most people, in the evening. Twice if your skin is oily. Follow with Face Cream, Rejuvenating Cream, or Colostrum Cream while skin is still damp.
Contains peppermint oil. Keep it away from the eyes and rinse thoroughly.

Fermented here, not bought in
Kefir has to be cultured from live milk. You cannot make it from powder, which means this product is only possible on a farm that milks its own animals — and it is why almost no one else in goat milk skincare offers one.
We culture it on-site in our own cleanroom, from milk collected days earlier. Same herd, same building, same week.
We raise our own herd in rural Southwest Washington and manufacture on-site in our own cleanroom. The milk goes from our goats into our formulations within days. That is not a marketing preference — it is the only way to keep the enzymes, proteins, and bioactive compounds that degrade the moment milk is heated and dried.
Our goats have names, not numbers. They have room to roam, quality feed, and daily attention from people who know each one's personality. We got into this because goats helped our family through the hardest season of our lives. Treating them well is not a policy. It is gratitude.
